You know I always have a feeling of fright when thinking about a long standing friendship, be it marriage, relationship, or animal. A certain bond that is broken through death. It has never happened to me. My mother, yes, but we had not that kind of long lasting bond I speak of, and though hurt, I cannot think what it would be like losing someone in the way I have explained. I know it will happen, and I am not looking forward to the pain.

My mother, yes, but we had not that kind of long lasting bond I speak of, and though hurt, I cannot think what it would be like losing someone in the way I have explained. I know it will happen, and I am not looking forward to the pain.

Thank you brother. I have suffered the loss of my father, my mother, once sister, a very close cousin, my two favorite aunties. It has been devastating and I won't even mention the friends. Somehow you find the way to go on, through my poetry I write memorials to the memory of them.

Wouldn't that be a lovely thought - a homage written in easy and smooth movement...
