I love this wonderful poem. The basic cycle of life, I guess what we leave behind really matters. Especially if it's love we shared with our children and friends. The picture fits perfectly.
Good luck in the contest!
Have a great day and God bless.

Hi Mike Thanls so much for reading and reviewing my poem and for your encouraging words and good luck message. I also like this image it seemed to fit my concept of life and death Cheers Christine

Chrissy,
I will be honest with you (sorry, but you know how I am with this...)
I adore, love, love(!) the message in your first two lines. It is smart, unique, highly creative and soooo powerful. BUT, then I felt like your third line fell a bit short. (sorry!)
Of course, that's merely one person's opinion, and only you know what your purpose for this poem was - so forgive me if I overstep (which I so often do...)
--sigh--
Thanks for sharing and much good luck!
(still worthy of five stars easy!)
