I don't believe I have seen the 5-7-5 form used to present prayer before. These seem reasonable requests of one's god. What will you give Him in return, I wonder?

This is very nice little prayer you are using in your 5-7-5 poem.
It is also easy to remember by heart and I am sure many of your readers will use it.
The syllable count is, of course also correct.

This is good wording. Love the illustration. God or Goddess is for everyone, so I guess Lord is for everyone too of all religions. God loves everyone and doesn't play favorites. At least, I know that.

Indeed, the simplicity is a teaching in itself! The prayers that invoke the most grace will have humble simplicity just like this. I liked this. The purity is tangible. Sincerity is the fuel for grace showers. ;)

I enjoyed your 5-7-5 poem. We are complete in Christ. He has it all, waiting for us, when we follow Him. The problem is in the trusting. We fail there often. We'd rather rely on ourselves or others, and that's when we get into trouble.
