Perhaps someday she will play a "minuet". Your poem is lovely as is the idea of a baby playing on her little piano, as my grown daughter once did. I like the way you included the aspect of calm regarding how playing a piano does for one as well as for the listeners. Well done.

How fun! It's so wonderful that you get to see your grandchildren often. Mine are too far away. Yes, music will be great therapy in the teen years but it's wonderful that she's got an early start!

Sorry I've taken so long to get to your review of Making Music last week, Lyenochka. I've been a bit overwhelmed in this first week of the ratings! Thank you for it anyway. Sadly, we see Teagan rarely, except in the virtual world of FaceTime and iCloud! She is in New York, half a world away from us. I'm delighted that she is being exposed to music. It's such a lifetime pleasure. Tony

This just would not dfit comfortably into a strictly metred verse. The broken rhythm here is right in line with the bangs and thumps -- Teagan's Ninth Cacophany perhaps.

Teagan's Ninth Cacophany! Reminds me of Fawlty Towers! I'm glad that we only see scenes like this in photographs, rather than having to endure the banging and thumping. I gather she's quite adept on the kitchen saucepans, too.

I loved the artwork. It so reminded me of me when I was about the same age plunking at a toy piano. The imagery was good and the picture of successful future plunking was great. The rhyme was well done also. Keep up the good work. This was a joy to see and read!
