Well, I've already told you and everyone else here what I experienced when I died for nearly four minutes, Roy.
I can tell you this much. It wasn't beacons of blinding white life or beckoning relatives welcoming me home. I would hardly classify my experience as a pleasant one.
Still, God spared me for a reason. He also sent his one and only Son, Jesus, to die upon that bloody, gnarled tree on Calvary Hill for ALL of us.
I won't go into the technical side of why I felt this was such a wonderfully well-written poem. You know all about the mechanical workings of poetry.
Suffice it to say that I enjoyed this.

I'm constantly amazed how we can make our plans, but God directs our feet, Proverbs 16:9, thanks Dean, for the great review, blessings, Roy

"When death stalks life" is an exceptionally well-written and spiritually-uplifting piece. This talented poet's work was a pleasure to both read and review. Each line is woven with the golden threads of truth.

This is another wonderful poem. The beginning sent shivers through me because your imagery is so good. Towards the ending I began to warm up. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Well deserving.

The hardest thing a person can do, is have real faith. We use our eyes to see and our ears to hear. To believe without seeing, takes courage. Your poem was very well done and inspiring. I loved it.

Hi, Roy
= Beautifully written poem of faith.
= So true, it is interesting how many times people will shun Christianity, yet as soon as something happens, they all of a sudden believe and need a favor.
= Excellent contest entry, my friend. Good Luck.

Hi Roy,
You always write the nicest poems and I always enjoy reading them. I like that you put Bible verses with it too. I'm the same way and will put Bible verses with my poems at different times.

Another very good poem. Royowen. The verses hold their rhythm well. I love the subject, for as you noted, when death is near, like when a plane is in a nose-dive, and death is imminent, even the atheists cry out "Oh, my God!" My only iota of ire came in the last verses, with the visual rhyme of "good" with "blood." Nothing personal, but I hate visual rhymes that don't sound right when read aloud. Just a pet peeve of mine. Thanks for posting.

I enjoyed your well-written poem, as I did before. Your faith in God is strong. His words carved in your heart. No, we don't know tomorrow and promised is not. Death will always follow us, standing near and waiting for the right time. Thank you for sharing. Many blessings, Ella
