Great true life story. Glad your family suffered no harm. I grew up in Michigan too - Haslett, near East Lansing. I looked up Shelby and see you were on the west coast above Muskegon. Nice country near the big lake. I enjoyed your story - well written

Thank you. Yep, my dad had a large fruit farm near Shelby. My brother runs the farm today.
