I like the repeating line. Every time he has a fling? One fling would end it for me. I can see why she wants to break his heart and does so.

The one who cheats and does it repeatedly is blinded by ego. Your right, "Some times the one in the wrong just can not see the clear picture." Their consciousness lacks empathy.
Although there isn't a set rhyme scheme, when I read it out loud it sounded like it did. The is a piece a lot of Fan story members will be able to relate to.

It seems that the horse is getting the last laugh. Woman's point of view--what does he expect? It sounds as if the guy has had more than one fling, too. If the gal who left meant so much to him, he might try apologizing instead of expecting her to understand. Poor cowboy is feeling a bit too sorry for himself. Great work in creating the atmosphere and giving an understanding of the narrator. Happy trails! judi
