Travel by train always sounds so fascinating. I love the old movies that take place on a train. A pleasure to read this, as I've seen so many things that are not. How neat that you played the piano on the train. That must have been fun. Very interesting, and well told. When you're speaking of a person, use who or whom instead of that. Great to include your postcard note. I envy you your train travel, and I know they are pleasant memories for you. judi

Elaine's dad was the postmaster at the Tenterfield post office in the late 40s through the fifties, and said they used to visit their family in Melbourne during those years, Tenterfield to Albury, change trains at Albury then to Melbourne, so we have a connection. Well done, good luck with your hearing aid, finding it again, that was really wonderful, your parents getting married again, and better still meeting Louise during this time, what a blessing, Geoff, well done, bro, good scribing, blessings, Roy.

If you wanna read our Aussie trip stories they are on her Tootsie55 account no points left sorry we will close her account when it runs out in January I think. I lost 9 kgs recently working on getting down to 90 kilos if God will allow.

Well, good luck with the weight... I sit on around 110kg... yeah,wouldn't mind carving a few kg's off that... I go in and read Tootsie55(Louise)... always great to feel like your on a journey around your own country with good people.

this is another excellent write, sankey. I rode a train one time from Jacksonville to fort Lauderdale and back. it was fun, but I would want a sleeping compartment next time.

If you read my wife's stories about our holidays together you would see the awful time we had for three days on the Indian Pacific I also mention in here but much longer especially as a handicapped lady. If you have not seen hers look for Tootsie55 I am sorry there are no rewards on it now. Thanks so much for coming through. A lot more coming still chapters not finished working on as yet.
