Definatly not forgotten, just missed a lot. Brooke is one of a kind. Your poem is a loving tribute to our friend, who we are all praying will heal.

You tell her how grateful you are This is beautifully personal. You tell us of her becoming a grandmother when Sawyer was born and we are all aware of how proud of him she is. Your poem flowed like a conversation with a friend. You left out non-essential words and got right to the core. What she meant to you as a teacher, what she means as a fellow poet, the sweetness of grand parenting Sawyer, the spirit of the dandelion and impact Brooke has had on fanstory.
Great job Linda, she would be proud.
