Wow! do you just think of these in an instant? So beautiful and creative. You are blessed with a special gift. You should put all of your poems with their images together in an album. I would buy one from you. I have a poem that I just finished that was a more difficult subject to answer, it is on the subject of .. "Why does God permit Suffering?
I am really happy with the end result, however it is quite long and have been trying to put it into 2 columns using the table in advanced mode, but I cannot figure it out,and it is driving me crazy! Any suggestions on how I could do this?
Thanks for your help,
Earthlover

Thanks so much, Earthlover - boy do I wish I just thought of poems in an instant - it would free up a lot of my time. LOL I am afraid I am a computer dummy. Try posting your question in the general thread of the forums. You can find people there who are really good at that kind of stuff. Brooke :-)

Lovely picture to contemplate the cycle of raindrops to rivers and streams or lakes and finally the ocean. And without the raindrops, the rivers and stream and even the ocean would not be. Transferring that thought to our lives - one can visualize our need for each other.
Beautifully rhymed poem.
Good use of alliteration.
Excellent ending.

Blessings
Janet

Hi Brooke,
these wise words conjurer more than just what's in plain sight... it delves into origin and life-force... and even the recognition to completeness made the bond stronger. How many things in our life can we hook these words up to? If not for this, than there would be no that.

A truly wonderful construction with your digging mind forever searching deeper meaning within the whole.

With our thoughts we create,
a particle to a whole,
James xx

This is beautifully written, Brooke, and I love the picture. I don't mind tiny raindrops, if there aren't a zillion of them coming down. Nice poem. Miss Sally. :>D

Hi Brooke,

This is such a good reminder of how important each individual is. Really has me thinking about God and our purpose. Another good one.

Hugs,
Lou

Brooke,

Telling things very plain and comprehensible. Nothing too serious. Kind of fun! I enjoyed this poem very much. Reading it was a pleasure. The flow was smooth. The theme well thought out.

It is perfectly written and completely error free.

Oatmeal is not just for breakfast anymore!!!

Your feelings are very understandable and expressed through the poem.

I look forward to seeing you again.

Love you,

Oatmeal

Another profoundly thoughtful observation of what all of us witness every day in nature. I just love how you do that time and again.

Perfectly flowing quatrains in steady rhythm with solid rhymes. The voices of the raindrop and the sea bring it alive.

Bravo, Brooke!

Always a pleasure to read your work :)

The cycle of rain to river to sea beautifully empresses as these two aspects come alive in these lines at present the significance of even the smallest part. Loved the rhythmn and the abcb rhyming.

Hi...sweet. On the suracfe a cute poem. But, underneath a truth that we forget. Life is about interconnection...as the ocean needs the rain, the rain needs the ocean...(I am in a very contemplative mood these days)...but it is true. And you said it clear and simple but not simplistic.

How lovely, this great entente between the sea and a drop of rain. I admire the great imagination at the back. That which really makes this writing beautiful.
