Have a safe trip to Mo. I'll miss the installment but I figure I'll be busy enough making sure the book launch goes well. It comes out on May 30. Talk to you when you get back.

Talk about light at the end of the tunnel, so to speak.
Finally the girls have found their me;, now what?
I think Cash will believe in ghosts after Paige tells him how they found the men. This has been a hair raising ride, or walk, I should say. Hopefully they will all get out of the tunnel safely.
Loved the suspense, and the help of the ghost.
Enjoy your son's wedding.

Hi Barbara:)
As if the dangers of the crumbling tunnels weren't enough, now Paige and Mary Pat have found the skeleton of someone who died in the tunnels. They would surely have turned back except for their safety concerns for Cash and Billy Joe. Bradley's ghost kept pointing the way so they continued until at last they were all together, but not safe as you provide another cliffhanger. Are they all trapped together now?

I hope the wedding comes off as planned, so you can finally rescue everyone. I noted one small error: "Bradley said go right and we did. There [hasn't ==> haven't] been any other choices." {Wrong tense.}

Love and Irish Hugs for a safe trip to your son's wedding.

Roger

Dear Barbra,
This was a very solid effort. The sense of being in the tunnel was well conveyed to the reader. Have a wonderful time at the wedding--Ted

Great chapter, Barbara. The action moves along very nicely and I like the dialogue between Mary Pat and Paige. It reveals a lot about the warmth of the Souther gal's affection and trust for Northerner Paige. Great job!

So if I may ask where are you going in Missouri? I lived in Springfield for about 15 years. I'm about two and a half hours from Springfield now, in Arkansas. Give the young couple my congratulations, God's blessings and love. God loves you and so do I.

Hi Barb
just let me say I'm so glad that I'm not in tunnel with rocks falling all over the place knowing someone died and or what reason?
is creepy plus darn right frightening .

Good writing
See you when you get back.

I'm glad I am not there either but I do think Bradley is smoking cigars in my bathroom. Nobody in my house smokes but I am smelling cigar smoke in my bathroom. Thank you for the kind review.

I see you are really getting into your own story. Bradley smoking cigars in your bathroom

It was so bad, I asked my husband if he took up smoking cigars. He looked at me like I'd grown ten heads. LOL

    you made me laugh Barb
I myself dislike the odor of cigars.

I hate to think what just happened, that Mary Pat and Billy Joe may have gotten caught in the rubble? Not Morgan, I hope.

"He got lost in the tunnel. Maybe he searched for the hidden treasure(,) then got lost."

Mary Pat pushed the lever down with her foot,(. Slowly,) slowly part of the wall creaked open.

This tunnel's old and could cave-in (cave in) any moment.

I can't(. Those) those crazy men you're trying to save need me more than you.

"Unless you're in a tunnel that could cave-in (cave in) any second.

The women continued walking,(.) Mary Pat hurried ahead.

"Sure do(. That's) that's my husband!" Mary Pat ran ahead.
