This is a good poem with an excellent message. I have a question about line 2 in the 3rd stanza. Is this line about working in heaven or on earth? The 3rd line in the 4th stanza "those who love"...who is this referring to?

Thank you so much for your encouraging comments. In regard to your questions: It would be so nice if the 2nd line/3rd stanza could refer to all God's children of faith on Earth, but sadly, many work here out of duty, contrary to the heavenly realm where its inhabitants learn that love is the highest motivation for work. The 3rd line/4th stanza, on the other hand, refers to those here on Earth, almost all of whom have to face different stresses and trials of living who benefit so much from the words of loving encouragement and little acts of kindness. With the power of God's light within.
His destiny is to rule and reign
With Jesus in His heavenly domain.....
I felt this poem started out beautifully and truly each stanza can stand on its own but I didn't feel they connected well. I'd love to see you go on and say more about the warrior and the spiritual battle he/she fights.
(we know it's not flesh and blood, right? ie Eph. 6

True Jewell. What I write is often just a tip of the iceberg and I would like to put in more connecting stanzas, not for the lack of visions but more getting to write it all down. Everyday of our lives, we are like warriors fighting our battles little or big, we fight daily to survive, the temptations, the trials, the pain, the sorrow and depression. But even in happiness we fight a battle too, on how to stay and keep the intact values, while we are being bullied to do evil. Thanks for sharing, God bless.
