Cash and Paige slowly being pushed together by their friends, doesn't seem to matter much. Wondering what all the extra noise in the house is, bet this will be great, enjoying.

Hi Barbara,

I really enjoyed this chapter until they herd a bump in the night! You are just naughty for leaving your reader hanging like that. (smile) Sometimes I wish the ghost would show himself then I hope he doesn't. Great chapter....blessings, chey

Uh, oh! Ghosts! It's going to be fun to watch Cash when he comes face to face with the resident shade. I think he's going to be scared stupid! Great transition, Barbara. :) nancy

I would have given another six star, however, I am almost out of how many I can use. smile.. I know you will come back with more and I want to have some left for my favorite writer. I am in suspence now, sho is in the house? I love this storyline and the characters. I am trying to figure out Mary Pat though. Very good. Wish I could write good like this one. Thank you.

Hi Barbara, to do you justice I went back and read from the first chapter so I could get a feel for the story. This is a very well told and well written narrative. The setting, the characters, their dialogue and events all fit together seamlessly. I am also very impressed by the amount of research you must have done on the Civil War and the city itself. The many grand old houses that are still there and have a mixed history add so much interest and authenticity to your story. The slowly developing affection between Paige and Cash is very well done, and you created a believable villain in Paige's boss, adding even more tension to compliment the haunting Paige is experiencing.
I watched the video of Alan Jackson playing "Good Time" for the line dancers. I am also a huge fan of his, and a country music fan, period. Played lead guitar in many country bands over the years and was privileged to have played live performances with Ray Price, Bobby Bear, and Marty Robbins. Mostly retired now, but still do a few 'sit-ins' with local bands.
This is a great story, I will keep up with subsequent chapters.
Cheers, irish

Barbara,
Your latest chapter is fabulously written.
Your great narrative painted atrong imagery in the readers head.
Your dialogue between Paige and Cash is excellent.
Paige asks Billy Joe to come over to help Cash put up her big screen TV so they can order pizza and watch football on her 50 inch.
The noise of laughter wasn't Billy Joe that Paige, Cash and Mary Pat.
I'd recommend your highly entertaning chapter to other reviewers as a "must" read.
Keep on writing rocking chapters, my friend.
Please have a teriffic week,
Love ya,
Melissa.

Ooh, I just love the ghostly presences and now there's even more witnesses. The romance slowly simmers between Cash and Paige. An excellent chapter, barbara.
