Great photo selection, and great poem. Although yu have no rhyme or strict syll. Or meter, yur poem flows very well. Which is hard for a lot of writers to do. Yu should enter this into a contest. I look forward to reading more of your work

This is free verse and does not require the mentioned. It is a piece that I have come to like myself for its endearing sentiment and quality.

Hi Bicpen,
I detect a bit of a broadside here ... I don't think I'd have chosen to describe writing in quite these terms, though I think I've seen 'reviews' with the same effect.
Clever play on the word, the rhythm and the variations on it were amusing at least.

Your title and the money- to be completely honest- attracted me. It is very well written as a free verse and I loved how you compared the writer's infection with syphilis. Your poem sounds great. This is an honest review- LOL. Really.

It's not nice to have heartless, nasty things said about the writing we have poured our hearts into. I have had one or two of those, it hurts and puts you off writing in case they are right. Then I have to think of the positive reviews I've had, when I have gone wrong and had constructive criticism, I have welcomed it, but not hateful words, they are not necessary. Enjoyed and understood your poem. Sandra.

Hi, Bic - seems you've been the victim, like most of us, to insensitive and perhaps ignorant critique from the PEN of soemone not too nice.
There is a cure for syphilis, and it also cures writing disorders. It's called 'PEN-icillin' (get it? LOL). Maybe recommend a course of it to the culprit.

(Perhaps there should be a mandatory "lesson"). It's interesting that I see this today. Just a while ago I reviewed a piece that I gave a 5 to. Someone else actually gave it a 1. I've never seen a 1 (until tonight). When I read the "1" review, it was totally unfounded. Wow, this ended up being a lot more "windy" than I intended.

I had to read it twice to get it, but I am a little slow. Then when i got it I was like woah this is powerful. Thanks for writing it. The first bit about the writing could apply to anything. I learned alot of stuff I didn't know.
