Miss Merri, a great job of crafting this senryu.
I love that thought that love can draw us home.
This really makes me think of God and His sacrifice
for us. He draws us to Himself by the love He showed
for us.

This is a correctly structured 5/7/5 Senryu with a great message about the way love draws people back to their origins.
This hold true throughout the animal kingdom as birds, sea turtles, salmon and even sharks return to their origins. Are these love chains? Perhaps not always, but I animalals that are nurtured as babies often seem to have a simb;iance of love.
So what I really am trying to say is that your Senryu fits into a universal pattern of life and I like your presentation.

Thank you so much Roger. I really liked this review. It is true, what you say about the animals, and I hadn't thought of that, but it fits so well with what I was thinking... Love is powerful and pulls at our hearts, no matter how far we roam or go astray, metaphorically speaking.
