Well I think you've made a good stab for your first try. A very nice tribute to Crystal Gale. I like the use of the song titles as part of the lyrics to your poem.

This was a bit of a different write from you.
I had some small issues with lines flowing into the next.
But thought that is how you intended it to be.
I know of this artist, have heard her sing and most of your lines did actually make me think of the artist...thus 5 star

I really liked it but I wanted more but it was short and sweet so I thought I'd give four just on a more personal note. However it was good but I just wanted to read more and thought it should've been longer but the fact that it wasn't is okay too. So yea, your work is good, keep it up!

Not sure the tribute or commemoration being made other than listing the song titles within a sentence. The angel of our exalting love was a slight oddity. I couldn't quite picture if the voice of the poem was part of a loving couple who may have had one of Gayle's songs inspiring them or whether this was something completely different.
Interesting never the less.
If this really is a commemoration to Gayle talents...her name is spelled wrong in the title.

however, i did struggle a bit with the flow. mayhaps a little
