Thanks ES for appreciating my writing. But I am glad that the wall between FS-ans are not that thick, we sometimes hear the cries and laughter.

Hi PUPA,
This one brings tears to my eyes. My parents are divorced and still living. I go daily to make sure my dad has food to eat and takes his medicine. My mom, although having had 4 surgeries, still gets around better than my dad. When I go to help them, I can't help but wonder how many older people out there has no one. It is heart breaking.
Your poem is beautifully written and your flow allows your meaning to be clear. Your choice of art adds meaning to your thoughts. Thank you for sharing this heartfelt write. God bless and best wishes!

I am honored to have my photograph used with this beautiful and touching poem. How very true about the walls in our lives both the physical ones and emotional ones. I've none this feeling myself and I applaud this very sensitive expression of those emotions and feelings of isolation. ~ Sande / gray horse

I love the picture here. It captures the poem so well.
The poem makes me sad because all of us fear that day. The day when our children that we spent all our adult lives taking care of worrying over etc etc never return or at least not enough to fill the void felt on their departure.
You captured all this and much more. Keep going.,well done.

wonderful lay out
with both print and picture
and of course i enjoyed the poem the best
i do hear you sometimes about the wall
there are so many in our lives in and out
seen unseen
and the way you describe them makes them all the more vivid

This is an incredible poem and even though you and your neighbor make fun of that wall, this is sad, because it really happens to some people. I'm sure you know that, hence the beautiful poem. Wonderful job, Pupa.

Hi margyl, thanks for a lovely review and kind rating.
We are making fun of 'ourselves', not of the wall, or else I wouldn't have thought of writing this poem.
Thanks again.

Yes, I knew you were making fun of yourselves. But, you captured the lives of many people (nursing homes, etc) who sadly watch for someone to come by. And, I don't mean to sound gloomy, but that's what I thought about. A wonderful and well presented poem. I enjoyed.
