I had no idea Debi's birthday was coming up. We should all write a poem for her since she seems to be acknowledging all of ours. I just read yours yesterday and I hope you had a really nice birthday.

Oh my! Don't promise such a thing! Your poem is adorable as is your sweet poem to Debi! (I have one of my own posted ~ she writes so many she deserves a few of her own!) Happy birthday (29 minutes late) to you, as well!

All of your group has similar qualities and do not hesitate to burn the candles regardless of the numberless sticks ablaze for what more candles mean is a BIGGER cake

I don't know... I think the poets of FanStory should be required to endure a few like yours (and mine) just for making us non-poets dodge all the poetry slung about.

This is an excellent poem for the Debi's Birthday, and your presentation is very good, too. You also use evocative words and colorful imagery that truly celebrate a person who celebrates others. I also see here that Debi has the same birthday as my daughter, Valentina, the 19th.
