I like your story. I think it is well told, given the constraints of the two-hundred-word limit. The only suggestion is that you consider making the ending a little more menacing or humorous, I don't know what to call it.

But instead of the sentence, "A cold numbness." Maybe something like, "Dang, six mistakes, practice, practice, practice."

Just food for thought, it might be fun. Excellent work. Terry.

Thank you, Ulla, for reading the flash story and for the good wishes. Released from the hospital yesterday and staying with my granddaughter in North Carolina for a while. I felt recharged this morning and really wanted to do what I love. Wasn't much but at least it was a beginning. Smiles and hugs to you.... Carol
