This was a foreboding poem of warning. There are those who intentionally prey on the innocent. This was somewhat similar to the wolf in Little red riding hood. At least for me. Great job. Thank you for posting. Gretchen

This is a nice entry indeed! It is difficult to write a rhyming poem without forcing some words to fit, but you pulled it off with great flow.
This sentence was exquisite:
Preying on credence of the naive, wide-eyed
