You sound like you're having my kind of luck when everything is going wrong at the same time. I'm sorry so much is happening. Hopefully the hospital knows how to deal with your brother and sister in law's infections and can clear them up. It sounds like you should stay put and deal with the house renovations. When there are finished everything will be better than before. We do what we have to do and try not to let it get us down.

Absolutely, I agree with you. It all seems to happen all at once. I just hope they will be okay. It's difficult to be so far away, though. I'm doing well and coping with what I got. Thanks so much for a lovely review. Ulla:)))

This is what the late Queen called an 'annus horribilis'; I am sure you will be glad to see an end of it! The prose coveys in a sincere, uncluttered way the writer's anxiety and distress. The photo is all too convincing.
