This poem is excellent in every respect--very skillfully written and powerful in its spiritual message, conveyed through the use of expressive figures of speech. You have movingly contrasted man's limited forgiveness of others' betrayal of trust with the Lord's FULL and unique forgiveness.

A very beautiful piece. I loved how it flows so smoothly from one stanza to the other. The clever use of 'if' makes the poem sound as existing as it sounds hypothetical. The rhyming structure is impeccable, to say the least.

There is no more comforting thought than that of being sheltered securely within God's loving arms. As sinful as our past may be, his forgiveness is like a blanket that protects and heals. Inspiring poem that is most uplifting.

The Lord is willing to stand between us in danger and we can take refuge in his protection. We should never try to obsure the light of another. We need to allow the light of Christ to shine through us and never stand between others and try to overshadow the true light.

This is a wonderful poem, Roy. I particularly liked the fact you constructed full-ryhming stanzas, and the tendency to pen a tresspess in the first line and consequences towards the end of the stanza. Kate xx
