Clouds are always the problem here in UK. Perps is is a poppy moon being both a flower and red.

Typo in here: '...some giant beast had attached the moon...' >> I think you mean attacked.

Thanks for the review and comments. Clouds have been with us a lot lately too but they aren't producing the needed rain. Thanks for seeing the misspelling.

This is a very good poem for May, along with interesting information about blood moons, eclipses, and the skies at this time of year. I'd never known about the moon stealing water.

Thank you for the review and comments. I didn't know about moon stealing water until this morning. I think it is something scientists are just now finding out.
