You have met the requirements of the contest with your fictional piece. Perhaps rebirth is not the comforting thought for Jeen that he needs if it just means coming back to this earth in another form. Thoughtful write, and thought-provoking as well.

This story is sad, but inspiring. A father died. A young boy prayed. An Angel visited immediately. God gave the boy a reassuring message. You've accomplished the almost impossible task of telling a complete story in thirty-nine words. Best wishes in the contest.

It is sad to hear of someone so young dying. But still den is compare or even contrast the two situations....one in this sickening world of repression , drugs, violence theft and unpunished sexual assaults in spiritual places etc etc, compare then this place with where Deen is actually..with God and His angels. Which one would you choose. Not many reach so far up in thousand lifetimes.
Let me then be just quiet and pray.
