You did a great job describing that rainy Monday day. Your words are descriptive in such a way that I could see the rain drops on the window pane and the goose gray clouds floating by. Rainy days are perfect sleeping weather.

I would enjoy the levity if it weren't for the fact that I get up on average of five times a night, rain or shine, to pee. I liked the feeling of the soft rain in your poetic verse.

Your last line made me laugh out loud.
Your poem, overall, paints a very vivid portrait of a dreary, rainy, cloudy day, but your third verse, in particular, is one to which everyone can relate. I know too well that feeling of hearing the rain on the window pane and enjoying knowing I'm snug in bed, but then the alarm pulls me out and makes me realize I have places to go and promises to keep, as they say. Of course, your last line is the most relatable of all. Thank you for that well-needed laugh.
Your rhymes are very well chosen. I particularly enjoyed "mundane" and "windowpane."
