Yes, not getting too far in the future or too far behind can help us to breathe easier. Your illustration is lovely and pairs perfectly with your words. Nicely done.

This is a beautifully written 8-6 poem from the writing prompt. Live into the present moment here you can breathe freely. Well done. Lovely photo. Good luck in the contest.

This is a very nice and well written and well worded 8-6 Syllable line count poem you penned for the contest. You used very good words and very beautiful imagery from the art work you chose. Best wishes in the contest. Teri

Yes it's an interesting concept to dwell upon and has a distinct air of 'enlightenment'- the present moment being the only one we really have - a lot said in so few words

A very well-written 8/6 syllable poem about living in the present is the best way we can breath freely and experience life as it is at every given moment.

This poem well meets the writing challenge requirements in terms of form and content. The picture is a good addition. I would prefer "living in" instead of "live into" but obviously it is not my call.

It is so simple a thing that we humans often struggle with. Not living the past, or the future on in most cases the day...it this precise Present Moment that is so precious.

Two simple lines that tell a story, and hold a world of meaning!
In my life-long experience, too many people live in the past, held down by memories they can't lay down.
The young are better at living in the present than us older people, they have little in their pasts and much to live for.
On the other hand, I could also interpret your 8-6 creation as; "Take a Deep Breath, Look up and enjoy the sunrise!"
Good job

Irish, we share Celtic traditions.... It is so simple a thing that we humans often struggle with. Not living the past, or the future on in most cases the day...it this precise Present Moment that is so precious. Your six-stars are the capstone to my year of writings....thank you!

I just love living in the present, yet I was brought up in a household that promised everything tomorrow and how patiently waiting was encouraged. These days there is no time like the present to do what you want to do, I enjoyed your words here, love Dolly x

Dolly, oh yes! The Dream and Goals our families implanted in us... it is energizing to know that the best that life has to offer is this Present Moment. It has been a personal delight to absorb your comments and support throughout 2020, you are delight and I am a very big fan!
