"The Joy of a Peppered Pickle", is a well-written and fun piece. I'm not a peppered pickle fan but I can and did enjoy your entertaining poem.
Well done.
Blessings

Well, I would say, that's food for thought. I liked how you described the peppered pickles, the spicy ness of them, and I also liked this link between the food and how it nourishes us, how it feeds the brain. I think you would like the poetry of Lina Parsons Marion, who is writing from the Blue Ridge Mountains in west Tennessee. Her book This Shaky Earth, is right up your alley. estory

What a fun poem to read! You used wonderful phrases such as prickling senses, relieves your ire, and spices mind. You did a great job with your first try at this style. I enjoyed this poem and your image is perfect. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Well done, you the format of your structure perfectly. This is a rather complex format that has been developed. I'm not sure if I would personally eat something like this, I hate peppers ð???

This is a nice use of a poem named after this veggie to praise the pickle.
It seems to be one of your favorite foods.
Nice choice of artwork.
Keep writing and stay healthy.

I like this form, it's very reminiscent of a limerick, or a fable in verse. What I wonder about is the construction "spices mind" - I'm not quite sure if you're using mind as a verb or as a noun. Overall, I think it works well and you have a nice, playful little poem here.

Thank you so much for the great review. "Spices" [mind] is meant as a verb.

I must admit pickle has never appealed to me and I don't think it ever will. I enjoyed reading your poem though and I thought your writing flowed smoothly. A well written piece.

I think you did a splendid job for the first try! I don't think it should matter if it's one or two syllables. What's an extra syllable among friends? LOL That's the fun part about this site, you can feel free to try new things without worrying if someone will poke fun at you. Keep on writing!!

Well composed and great rhythmic pace. The picture was equally valuable and perfectly marched the subject of the poem so much so that I started longing for the peppered pickle. Thanks for sharing your very creative work.
