This is a great memory shared, Marjon. I enjoyed reading it. Your words paint a lovely picture of the night, the music, the dance, and the sky. I like the 'chiffon cloud.' Your words flow smoothly like a dance to sweet music. Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

Yes, there are memories, or moments in our lives that will never go away, with me it's always been mainly aroma, but of course the other is Sight and sound, and, of course they add up to déjà vu, I love this. Poetry is always a symphony in blue...or read, or pink, (my girls, including my granddaughter.) this is divine My friend. Blessings Roy

Marjon,
I am very familiar with Chopin's Nocturne. I can hear it playing in my head as I imagine the little dancer extolling the beautiful nigh bestowed upon her. You've penned an excellent poem. I love the images and descriptions you have expressed.
Best wishes,
Cindy D

Thanks dear for sharing your poem. I admired the manner in which you used colours to describe the sky and the imagery of creeping moon and rose sent as "the music tiptoed..."

What a lovely memory, Marjon, they are what keep our loved ones close to us. I could almost smell the scent of the roses. Chopin is a favourite of mine, too. You have some lovely imagery in your poem, and the way you described yourself as transparent, was fabulous. Well done, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Hello, Marjon,
I love your poem about the memories you have of your mother playing piano...they are lovely. My mother died when I was ten years old. The presentation is beautiful.

What a lovely poem depicting a precious childhood memory. Sometimes parents do not realized how much their own their loves/hobbies affect their children.

A gorgeous memory of a night magically spent in a summer garden, mother's piano music drifting out into the moonlit yard, you spellbound. Gorgeous writing.
