There are not enough good words in the dictionary to describe how wonderful this post is!! I'm so sorry for your loss of Tessie, and feel so sad for her family. I've been lucky so far as not to have known anyone that has lost their fight with this horrible disease, but there is still a long way to go. God Bless and stay healthy.

Thank you so very, very much, Lance, for your beautiful six-star review of my prayer. I appreciate everything you wrote, and I love it when fellow believers read and review it, because I long for as many people as possible to make these supplications in agreement with me.
I thank you very much for your condolences on the lost of Tessie, our sister in Christ, which was very difficult, yet we know she is at peace, in glory with Our Lord. Yes, this is a horrible disease, and I hope and pray that you will not lose anyone close, and that my husband and I will not lose anyone else. Thank you again, may God bless you and keep you safe as well.

This has certainly brought up a lot of things that are affected. I had to start my therapy sessions over the phone, and I know in the grand scheme of things it's minor, but I'm not a therapy over the phone kind of person. It's hard. You did a great job with this. I'm so sorry you lost someone due to this. I think in the end we're all going to know someone who has had it or passed because of it. Big hugs!

Thank you so much for your excellent and thoughtful review. And I thank you for your condolences on the loss of our dear friend, which was so distressing. I hope I won't lose anyone else who is close, but we are losing so many people day after day, and I'm sure most of them will be greatly missed by others.
I'm sorry that your therapy over the phone wasn't the same -- I also had a therapy session over the phone this week, and I think I know what you mean. There is a lot that happens with nonverbal communication in a therapy session, and that's just nonexistent in a phone call. My husband and
I had our first church service by video. We could only see one person at a time (whoever was speaking), and the singing was uncoordinated, but it brought me to tears because I haven't been to church since before this quarantine started. I was just so grateful for the experience. I will be more grateful when this is over and we can worship God together in person, but for now, it helped to fill a void. It wasn't my regular church, but we know the leadership, great people, and we felt so welcome. We have been getting the sermons from our own church by email -- our pastor does a wonderful job. It's important to stay connected to others in whatever ways we can. FanStory is an important resource to me, for communicating with other writers, being inspired and also staying busy doing something positive. I'm happy we're both a part of it and sending hugs to you, too! Praying you stay safe. - Mary Kay xoxo

I guess it's a good thing we have this technology. At least we're not completely cut off from things entirely. And I agree that I can't wait for this nightmare to be over. Too many lives lost and so many more yet to come.

Yes, far too many lives lost. Stay sane! Sending love your way.

Thank you, Mary, for your update about you and your husband. I'm thrilled you recovered without having to be hospitalized. Your prayer is great and the words are heartfelt. The lines read smoothly. You gave specifics about the individuals/groups included. Thank you for caring and sharing. Respectfully, Jan

I think it's a great invocation and you didn't leave anyone out. It had an earnest feel to it, and the repetitions drove home that feeling of compassion and sympathy. Also very solemn. Yes, let's pray and believe that our Lord Jesus Christ sweeps this scourge from us and we can go back to church. This is going to be the weirdest Easter ever. estory

Thank you for reading and reviewing my prayer, and for your comments that echo your understanding, faith and agreement. This whole situation is stranger than fiction. I never thought that churches could be closed on Easter. I was actually thinking of going out into the mostly empty street at 12 noon, shouting "Jesus Christ Is Risen!" and then going back inside (my husband said he won't be joining me, lol). But I would rather be in church! And to your prayer I say, Amen! - Mary Kay xoxo

Hello Mary Kay, I am so sorry for your sad loss. I feel for the family and everybody who is close to Tessie. It just seems so unfair that a virus, most of us had never heard about a few months back, is killing off otherwise healthy people. Stay safe. I'm glad you have your faith. Ulla:)))

Thank you, Ulla, for your excellent review and for your condolences on the loss of our dear friend. She had recovered from a stroke about 6 months ago, and gave us all a very encouraging and uplifting testimony in church at the time... we didn't expect to lose her this way. Thanks for everything. You stay safe too, my friend. - Mary Kay xoxo

It's horrifying to hear that you and your husband got this virus. We can indeed thank God that you came through. I extend my sympathy to you in the loss of a woman you know. Your thoughtful prayer mentioning so many is a beautiful expression of caring and connection. xx

Thank you, LisaMay, for reading my prayer, and for your excellent and caring review.
I appreciate everything you wrote, including your condolences on the loss of our dear friend.
Yes, I couldn't believe it when I got the virus -- and I was staying with my mother! She wanted me to sleep in her room that night, but I wasn't ready for bed, and something made me check my temperature. So I had to stay away from her as much as possible. It gradually dawned on me that it could only be Covid-19, which was later confirmed by a test. When I went home from my Mom's, my husband soon got sick also, but recovered quickly. I am indeed so thankful that we both recovered and that my Mom wasn't affected. Blessings, my friend! - Mary Kay

Hi Mary Kay. This is a well done and encompassing prayer for the world to be relieved of the Covid through Jesus, Our Lord. I'm sorry for the loss of your friend.

Thank you, Marilyn, for your excellent and kind review. Thanks especially for your condolences on the loss of our friend.
I appreciate the note about the image -- I sized it large because the scripture verse wasn't too legible in auto-size. I just changed it to medium, because maybe it was a little overwhelming? But I don't think the size difference was substantial. I guess medium is the best I could do!

OH my lady, my heart goes out to you and my prayers just as you stated in this piece. This is supposed to be the hardest and saddest for every family in the states. You are so right, and we for the first time bond as a family.
