Lovely rhymes and a good, steady beat. And of course, with love as its theme, the poem has some passionate undertones. "And never had I known before that gentle hands could reach so deep." Nice! Good luck in the contest.

This is a very sweet and tender poem. The rhythm flows gently like a stream, and its dream-like quality obviously fits the title. My favourite lines are: "that gentle hands could reach so deep" and especially, "I still remembered loving you." Charming.

Awe! Thanks Tom, this is one pulled from the shelf of my late 20's and before this person passed from the earth several years ago, I was able to reconnect with him through email and phone, and I was able to share many of the poems he inspired. Timing wasn't right back when written originally, but at least he knew about them finally in his life. :) xoxo Appreciate your comment very much!

Men, you absolutely must leave them wanting more. More of you and no one else, they must believe that only you can give them what they desire and need the most. This is a sure fire winner right here.

LoL! Actually he was a sound guy for a few famous bands and this particular night, he had to leave to tour for a few months. We?d been friends before this night, and sadly I had to wait two months to see him again. Many years ago... he inspired this and several other poems I have from my late 20?s. He has passed from this earth a few years ago sadly and we did stay in touch over the years, but timing wasn?t right back in those days. He travelled and I had children. Definitely though one of the great loves of my life! Thanks for letting me share that!
