Who would say that about your writing? That is terrible. It may not be the style of writing they like, but to say that is over the top. I like your writing and I think this is quite good and I hope you do well in the contest.

This was an excellent dialogue entry. I thought it was fiction. You have contest winnings under your belt. You have many people who avidly read you. Ignore the one and believe in the masses. This is clean with just a few edits suggested above. Good luck in the contest.

Thank you so much, Janelle, and I've made the corrections, Thanks for pointing them out. Well the answer I got from the reviewer was as follow: 'I give five stars to pieces with a unique voice or a writing style that no one else could easily copy.'
It hurt and eroded away a lot of my confidence. I'm not sure where to go from here. Kind regards. Ulla:)))

Absolutely. I've learned so much the four years I've been here and I believe and hope I've grown as a writer as well. But after today, I'm not quite so sure, whether I'm waisting my time. I'll have to think about it. I'll keep posting for the time being. All best. Ulla:)))

DO NOT PAY THE OTHERS MIND. IF YOU ARE WRITING SOMETHING WRONG THEY HAVE TO SHOW YOU WHAT YOU ARE DOING WRONG IF THEY CANT THEY ARENT WORTH THE SALT. SO STAY HERE AND WRITE TO YOUR HEARTS CONTENT!

You just have to ignore the jerks like that. I got a four because I didn't mention the photo. The reviewer said the poem was great, though, and if I mentioned where I got the photo, he/she would update their review. Thank heavens, there are only a few like that. Don't let it get you down. Look at all the other reviews you get!

I know, Yvonne. I don't mind to get a four if justified But what got to me was to be told that my writing was rather shallow. That has lingered. I agree though, I shouldn't let it get to me.
