This was very well done Earl. I enjoyed the activity level and the hints and sense of suspense. It was good that Janie and Doo met up with Mighty Beaver and Clancy. They will all get to Pittsburgh now. Thanks for sharing.

I really liked Hit the Road Jack. I am now engrossed in the characters. I look forward to Doo and Janie's adventure as well as the story teller's prospective, which I have no back story yet. I do intend to find the beginning of the story and become a fan. Thank you for letting me escape into another world and I found myself reading out loud and giving the proper accents to all the characters based on your writing. The story is something that I wouldn't have chosen on my own to read, but I am very happy that it was suggested. Perfect for my Saturday afternoon! Thank you, Fonda - novice Poet, aspiring Writer

I'm glad this was suggested to you. Welcome aboard, it'll be a wild ride. For a little bit of backstory on Roseanna I did a back cover blurb under the same name, that's what got this started. I appreciate you reading and reviewing my work.

I'm not at all worried about the length, it was a fabulous read. I hope you don't keep us waiting this long again!! I love this book. Now, it appears to be love at first sight for our girl, but perhaps she's a little young. :)) I liked Mighty Beaver, and if she is really as good looking as that, I might like to do a bit of visiting!! The Shawnees are sure to be back, but now Doo has his friends around him. Excellent part, bring on the next!! :)) Sandra xx

I had editing problems, I don't intend to let it go this long again. Is Mighty Beaver you're favorite character? The Shawnees will be back, count on it. I appreciate you taking the time to read and review my work.

Yes, I do like 'Mighty Beaver' he sounds like he has a good sense of humour and can be a great friend if needed. I like them all, except the Shawnees, but then again, I would want some sort of justice is someone killed my brother... :)) xx

Well Earl, you're quite the storyteller, this delicacy grabbed me quite a bit, I like the big brotherly relationship between Dolittle and Janie. Then on escaping the Shawnee warriors, they meet up with Clancy and Mighty Beaver, friends of Doo. I like the characters, plot, and easygoing nature of the work, well done Earl, good scribing, blessings, Roy
Typo : Doo cracked cracked a grin at the Induan(')s discomfort. 2: doing fine on her own(,) Doolittle. 3: Janey Wolfe(,) 4: Clancy(,)

This is an interesting story Earl. I didn't see any spags probably because the story was so interesting. LOL The only thoughts I had was how Janie was getting along traipsing around in the forest with no shoes on. Her feet should be bloody! To be continued....Nancy:)

It's not often that I stop to read a frontier story, but yours drew me in first with the artwork and after I read about Granny telling the story I was in for good.

Of course the story didn't disappoint. Even strange words like Thunderation only made the story more unique. For all I know they could have used that word in cursing.

An excellent write and engaging story.

Thunderation is an exclamation like darn it or geez. But it's more of an 1800s exclamation. I'm glad I was able to pull you in, that's why I do it. I appreciate you taking the time to read and review my work.

Hello Earl. This is very good. I really like westerns/frontier stories and you have written a very good one here. I would mention that Janie's name is misspelled when it says.... they're burning the boat.... A very good read and I am looking forward, eagerly, to the next one.
