This is such a lovely poem! There's such sadness here... but also nostalgia. You've executed the loop so well... that repeated word never feels like it's just repeated... if you know what I mean! Very well done! Beautiful imagery, sitting and chatting, seeds sown... Again, a lovely loop!!!

What a beautiful loop poem. Life can get in the way of our dreams and time passes so quickly, before you know it, you have aged and your dreams become unfulfilled dreams that only stay in your memories. So sad. That the best friend died that shared those dreams. I can so relate to this poem from my own personal experience.

Yes, I know what you speak of, Idamarty. I also hoped to spend my final years with a loving partner but life doesn't always go according to our plans. I really enjoyed reading your poem. I'm starting to enjoy these loop poems. They're fun, with the repetitious last and first words. Well done.

This struck a nerve...plucked an emotional string...time steals away while we are busy making plans, as they say. SO many "moments" I wish I had back, to say that thing I meant to say, or sit in silent reverie with a loved one... Beautifully penned loop poetry.

Yes, of all the emotions, those brought on by the loss of loved one and the wish to have more time and better used time is hard. I suspect that most of us at a certain stage of our lives feel or will feel the same way. Well said.
