My heart goes out to these families, I too am filled with tears. Why a thing like this happens, no one will ever know. I do believe in the power of prayer, so I will do as you ask. God bless all involved, and may deceased Rest In Peace.

I also heard this on the news and thought of the parents and relatives. How does one recover from something like this?
It's sweet of you to care enough as to choose this as a topic for your poem.
Thanks for sharing.

So clearly written with emotion. I live on a boat and am out of the news loop pretty much. I heard something about a crash but this is the first details I have heard. Thank you for being so clear with your facts and emotions.

Hello, and I certainly will pray, as it is one of those tragedies where that's all we can do. We don't understand why these things happen, I guess there will be an inquiry to find out, but I'm sure lots of people are raw and hurting. Thanks for sharing your poem, Ana.

This is a beautiful tribute poem and prayer for the victims and their families. This is so sad and tragic and in those moments, prayer is absolutely the right answer for us all. Thank you for sharing this.

This poem, Please Pray, being more a request for prayer and a news item, brings us all to the point of grace where we must ask for divine intervention.

This is so sad that so many, so young have died in such a freak accident. I can't imagine what the parents and families of these children are going through now.
It is truly compassionate of you to ask for prayers for their sakes. I will.

Keep writing

Joan

So young, like soldiers in most wars, killed at the worst possible time, when the confusion of adolescence is ending and their life as a person beginning. One always wonders why. Excellent tribute.

L. Raven,
I think this is very sweet of you to write a poem about this. I can't imagine either, it must be hell on Earth. Peace to all involved.

"Oh, death, where is thy sting?" These young lives taken in the blink of an eye. Fate can be cruel, she doesn't discriminate. When our time is up, then it is time. My thoughts and prayers are with the injured and fallen. XXK
