A very well-written poem about the days of April that is needed to write a poem over thirty days. My lazy nature would break it up as one stanza each day if the month, but that is just me. Lol.

Hi Sandra. Oh No that would not do tempting though LOL. I was going to contact you re this contest my first poem ( April fool) was posted under the NaPoWrMo contest listing but I couldn't find this again to post this one so do we just post a daily poem under the usual general poetry manner how to we make sure our poems get put into the contest section. Hi Anastasia, Thank you for readin and yes I did base this on the 12 days of Christmas as this is my first official poem for the NaPoWrMo contest so I thought I would start with the first day of April and it just morphed from there. I have to post a poem every day for April Hope I can think enough up LOL . Cheers Christine

Hi Dolly, Yes you are right a d when I started writing this I thought of the first day of April and it just went from there LOL I now have to think up 29 other poems one for every day of April. so I hope I can complete this task. a challenge anyway. Cheers Christine

Hi Dorothy, Yes I did borrow the Christmas theme for this poem LOL and actually looked up the lyrics to see how it metered so I hope I have done it reasonable justice. I did stop at 10 verses though and I thought 10 enough. Yes I hope I can do justice to the contest anyway this is technocally my second poem for the 1st April as I wrote one for my son who was born on the 1st April which was yesterday here in Australia and it is the 2nd here today, however in America is is still the First
April so I have posted 2 for the same day different hemisphere,s Ha Ha confused yes me too LOL Thanks for reading cheers Christine
