The author was able to define dreams and gave his own perspective on how to describe a dream made meaningful with specific examples in every stanza. Thanks again for an excellent write. Well done.

Beautiful. Especially the way you tied the scriptures in. My new favorite quote goes something like this: A winner never gives up on his dream, while a loser never wakes up. How true is that? Some people spend their entire time dreaming while the answer or solution, that thing of which they dream, slips from their grasp while they remain asleep, dreaming.

This reads smoothly and the meter is good. I don't quite get the "sitting on a pole." Ouch. Ha ha! For many of us, we are following a dream by being on Fanstory and using the gifts God gave us. Thanks for sharing.

This is excellent--it says so much. Very well-written and great presentation. The last two lines really bring it all together well with a very important truth. Thank you so much! I enjoyed it immensely.

A dream remains confined to thought
a seed locked in a box.
Don't let it die, just grasp that dream --
'cause time's contained in clocks.

Nicely done! Also a very good point you've made in this piece. I love how your work always passes on a pearl of wisdom. Way to go. :)

This is really quite lovely, Roy. All your work seems to be really nicely done. I think the extra meanings are the most important part for me. I think? I know. I listen to those trees rustling--and
i haven't been outside in months. I know that voice, though. I hear it... it just feels like Greek, lately. But I'm still listening.

Hello Roy!
The melodic phrasing that you have employed in this beautiful offering resonates with this reader. Even though I may have retired last year, I still have dreams; I still have things I wish to accomplish. The last stanza truly speaks to me:
A dream remains confined to thought
a seed locked in a box.
Don't let it die, just grasp that dream --
'cause time's contained in clocks.

Thank you so much for sharing!

Before I wrote my book I always said that I wanted to write a book. Then I heard the keep dreaming because that's all it'll ever be. Or stuff along those lines. Why don't we encourage each other to go after their dreams? Why are people so negative about it? When I published my book I wanted to go up to each and every person who was negative and be all like in your face. I didn't but I did think about it. Great job

Dear Roy, here we have another triumph of your poetic artistry, sculpted in musical metrical cadence amidst the dance of your sweet rhymes.
Congratulations on the accolades accorded to it already. Blessings, john

Good afternoon, Roy

Enjoyed the poem and I'm out of sixes. A tad confused. Do dreams represent faith we must experience various aspects of life to bring the dream to fruition, to realize what faith brings to one who believes in the dream as they do their faith?

Take care and stay safe,

Ray
