After being gone for a couple months, it's obvious I'm way behind in the story. Having neglected many things at home during my absence it's not likely that I'll be able to go back and catch up entirely. But I still plan to follow along as best I can. Thanks for sharing another fine chapter. :-)

I know how busy we all stay, and I wouldn't want to put you in a time crunch. I will try to go back and just skim through when I get a chance, or if you could maybe give me the high spots of a chapter in a line or two. But, Please, don't take time you don't have, just for me. :-)

Hello Barb
I like the sense where Anderson is threading the stout man with a knife then how the action goes on with when four hospital security guards descended upon them.
Smiles about eating too many donuts and the conversation of the three cats with one of them about ready to have kittens
Great Chapter

The pregnant cat isn't due in the next two or three days(,) is she?" - add comma

I thought this part was really good, it had some action, and some humour. The pregnant cat, lol! I liked the way Shana's father said in reply to his saying he was outvoted, that he doubted that happened much, LOL. Well done, Barbara, this is coming along nicely! Big hugs. Sandra xxx

Hi, Barbara

Wow, this is a very complicated novel with angle of art theft, which I think you are handling extremely well. I always hesitate to get into the area of weaponry because it's not something I know much about. You, on the other hand, seem quite knowledgable and comfortable with the topic. Lots of action here. I look forward to reading more!

Barbara,
Good chapter. Love the action; it is well-written. Now you have them out of the penthouse apartment, that is good. Glad you found the image of the knife.
Can't wait for the next!

Good morning, Barbara
Good morning, Barbara

Enjoyed reading the continuation

It appears the conflict between Benjamin and Anderson regarding Shana (from the prior post) has been resolved to a degree. The action sequence in the hospital was good and I liked the humor regarding the donuts and coffee.

The lead, Matt said, " What is the lead...is it the one initiating the conversation ?

"From your mouth to God's ears." Haven't heard this expression in a long while.

Take care and stay safe,

Ray

I met the lead of the security team. Maybe I need to work on that. Thank you for the kind review.

Ah, I was expecting, or hoping for something a little more active than a simple outnumbering. Maybe later on...lol

Good well written instalment.

Additional three men surrounded the four of them - An additional here I think.

I found it a little odd that there wasn't more of a discussion about the attempted abduction from Shana's family. The explanation given by Anderson doesn't hold a lot of water, given that anyone there could have called the police and pressed charges irrespective of his men's wants or the wants of the hospital security.

to be treated with the upmost respect - I think in this instance it may be utmost -
utmost - of the highest or greatest degree, most extreme.
upmost - situated at the top, highest or most upward position.

I have made that correction and I was awaken in the middle of the night because I realized that Shana would have some questions that I haven't addressed in my next post. I am in the process of rewriting parts of it. Thank you for the kind review. Things to heat up in two, maybe three posts. It will happen before they leave this area. I have already written it, I just can't remember how many posts in the future it is.
