Oh yes. I can so relate to this. I have been in denial for some time but have finally come to terms with it and it has made life much easier. Great one line Poem and illustration. Good luck.

A very nicely thought out contest entry and I wish you the best of luck in it.
I threw all of my mirrors out because the buggers kept lying to me. Nobody is as ugly as they told me I was every morning lol.

What you wrote is so true, and for men too. The best thing about your poem is the last line. You cannot dislike someone who has laugh lines. Well done.

zekeziemann, Thank you so much for your review. Yes, ageing can be hard to come to terms with but doing it gracefully is the key I think. I love the laugh lines too : -) ~DD
