Such a beautiful image from both the picture and your words. I love this haiku, because I love flowers, the color red and anything that reminds me of spring and summer, with winter looming ahead. Nicely done.

Excellent imagery, alliteration and form. Artistic presentation, too. Good word economy, though I recommend not using THE in line two. Replace it, perhaps, with a descriptive word, like cool. I like the phonetic resonance of the B and P consonances coupled in counterpoint with alliterated R and S.
Nice work. Also, I perceive a subtle ironic pun on the red sea line because of the association of poppies with a famous battlefield. Not sure if that was intentional or not. Even though so many died on that field, life thrives there.

This is a stunning picture with a perfect poem to describe it. Great alliteration of 'r' words and what makes it especially mellow sounding is the assonance of the long 'e' sounds throughout : ruby, poppies, breeze, sea. Lovely!
