Men often seek truth with a closed mind. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very good read. There is very good imagery.

You presented a very thought-provoking commentary complete with several references from well known historical figures. I liked the Dalia Lama story, and the Zig Ziglar flea circus bit.
Nice job!

Wow this was insightful. The analogies you use at the beginning are perfect for describing what the rest of this piece discusses. I did enjoy the Dalai Lama joke, even though I had to think about it for a minute lol. Your statement, "Universal truth is immutable, regardless of how egos choose to relate to it." is absolutely mind blowing. This really made me think, and I enjoyed that about it. Great work!

An interesting philosophical piece. You make some very valid points about attempting to integrate the whole view, and not be smug and secure in your own viewpoint.
I prefer the portions where you are expounding in your own voice with your own examples and analogies. I found the parts where you were revisiting familiar stories and examples less engaging.
References to recent political events not only date the piece, but risk alienating approximately half of your potential audience. And that is probably the half you most want to convince with your essay!
"What'll it be, Mac?" asks the vendor.
"One -- with everything." Replies the Dalai Lama. -- You need another line break before Dalai Lama's reply. And the punctuation should be -- "One -- with everything," replies the Dalai Lama.
"Men are not prisoners of Fate, but only prisoners in their own mind." -- Franklin D. Roosevelt
"Wisdom begins with the definition of terms." - Socrates.
A little inconsistency in formatting here. Sometimes you use a single dash to attribute a quote, other times two. And sometimes none.
Your words are compelling by themselves. You don't need all the famous quotations.
Keep writing!

A very well-written and interesting piece on different perspectives. We are what we think and how we perceive things depends on where we stand. If we put each ones perspective on an object together we can all see the object in the same way at the end.

This is so true. We see what we want to see, or what we are told we will see. I think a blind person sees far more than a sighted person because he has no bias toward anything. He touches and makes his own mind up at what it is he is 'seeing' This is a great piece of work, enlightening and thought provoking. Well done. :) Sandra xx

We all fight against being in darkness without even knowing what darkness is. We all seek the light without knowing what light is truly all about. A blind man lives in darkness, but is that really true. Sometimes a blind man knows more about light than a sighted person will know. The two things that destroy mankind are ego and greed. This is a well-written article that will help so very many people. Thank you for posting it... john

Mankinds ego could be why there's not as much love as there could be throughout the world because of big egos that want more and more.

This was an interesting read. I liked much of what you say but the line that enlightened man can not (want the grammar) be enslaved was especially strong. Very creative and unique. Well done.
