Hello Jeni,
It appears Luna is shining brightly
in this fun poem of magic and fairies
with excellent rhymes
Favorite line:
"This place is where beasts meet and greet,
they all play games and never cheat"
I like the meter of those two lines, too
Nicely done
RS

A very good poem. The moon plays an important part in our solar system. The moon controls many things, Tides moods even phycology to a degree.

    Dear Thomas,

Yes, and being that I'm smack-dab in the middle of the Zodiac Sign, Cancer, I think of myself as a child of the moon. My alternate name is actually Moonchild. Thanks for your review on this one. I'm glad you liked it!

Oh, how wonderful you have made each part of the cycle. You given a positive lean to all of these phases, and all watched over by the moon.
I love the way you form your lines, each with an ease characteristic of a master!

Well done, my friend,
Rhonda

Even without a set meter this flows along beautifully. The cycle of a whole day seen from the perspective of a child its rhyming couplets will delight your young readers I am sure. However, this is by no means all infantile stuff. A couple of internal rhymes, hig/sky and meet/greet, raise the intellectual level as does the excellent feminie rhyme animals/contitutional.

a cleverly constructed poem.

You might be interested to know I have been enrolled onto the FanStory Academic staff and will be shortly advertising my first class. This is likely to do with rhyme as Mountain Writer (Ray) is already strong on meter. There is nothing on rhyme at the moment.

You probably don't need this but I thought I'd let people know.

A very well-written poem. The lines flow well from the one to the other. Your rhyming are excellent. Although not in a set meter it still has a rhythm.

Everything that's said about living with in sync with the rhythm of nature - being in harmony with the earth, feeling the cycle of the seasons - happens to be true. Thanks for writing the wonderful piece.

It has a charm that reminds me of Beatrix Potter of English fame, which is a complement. "Fairies resume" may sound a bit autobiographical for what
ever inspires you

Hi Luna!

You surely are brightening up the sky around here.
I enjoyed reading your ode to the moon with its
nicely rhymed lines and fantasy filled lines.

Yet, you bring in the children that are learning
about a new star...interesting. I like your internal
rhyme and I could go for a vacation here:

"This place is where beasts meet and greet,
they all play games and never cheat. "

Linda

    Hi, Linda!

I appreciate the compliment in the first line of your review. I'm glad that you found the children learning about a new star interesting, and liked "they all play games and never cheat..." that is my favorite stanza of the poem.

Thanks again for the terrific review!
