Excellent. I do admire good poetry and this is very good. Your message comes through loud and clear. I don't see any errors in spelling or otherwise. I am not much of a poet myself and don't understand all the different forms.

The winding trail rather than the straight and narrow always takes more effort, especially if uphill. Endure it and you will be stronger for it. I may be wrong, but I detect a slight nod to Frost's "The Road Not Taken". And here I thought you had to go to Hawaii to get a Lai ( Lei).
