I have six cats and my fluffy cat Gideon is my baby. Love your words, they show how important Fluffy is. Excellent poetic form that shows how loyal Fluffy is. I am always overjoyed to read a poem about cats.

Yes there is always one special one. Strange animals cats. Independent yet capable like Fluffy of great love and devotion. This is a very pleasant little freee verse acrostic acrostic. I wish you all the best in the contest.

Hi Teri great to see another cat lover. I don't know how I would live with seven cats though I've owned a series of them. We even had two black cats at the same time! Thank you for sharing.

What a wonderful tribute to a beloved pet :-)
I can just picture her, curled up and purring softly
on your lap (easy to imagine since I have a tabby
or two of my own ;-). One is a lover, one is elegantly
regal and one is queen of the roost - but all snuggle
and cuddle once cooler weather returns. I am fortunate
to live in a rural setting, so they have their own kitty door
but none of them travel far, preferring the porch or
wrought iron lawn chairs.
Your poem made me smile :-)

This is an interesting poem that the author has created with this piece of writing. My fiancé wants a cat, but I am not so sure. I know that they are fairly independent, but we work so much I fear that it will end up wild.

To be honest all of our cats are indoor cats. They have been declawed an fixed. They are great to have around the house. they are pretty independent. Hugs, Teri

Well, they can't claw our furniture or mess too much up. Our cats are at the age they are pretty stable. I love them all.

We have one cat and two dogs. But cat make sure she get all the attention. The two dogs come second all the time. Cats are royalty and like to be treated that way. Good luck with the contest

We had a cat for eighteen years. She loved my daughter Becca and would yowl at her door when she left for college...but although I fed her every day she never sat in my lap...peed in the closet put a dead rabbit under the table at my feet but never my lap, hung on the door knob for hours purring but lap....never
