This is a lovely poem! So simple and yet so true. The unicorn is a wonderful metaphor for those things of our imagination that we shut our eyes to as we trudge through life. What a marvellous wake-up call! See the unicorn, indeed!

i simply love mythical creatures and magical elements! indeed, the unicorn is hard to come across but it lives in the enchanted emerald woods.

Hmm I really do not remember writing that!

I must have been exhausted half, asleep and pickled in alcohol.

That said .. that all happens on rare occasions :P

Unicorns are one of the ultimate fantasies. I think every young girl dreams of taming one. If only... Nicely written free verse which goes well with the free spirit of the unicorn.
