I wonder if Billy Joe is joking or if there's an underground stream in the tunnel somewhere. But if there is, why did Chase need the water? I'll have to hold my questions until this part resolves. There's too much going on for such a short post, but not for a normal length chapter. :) nancy

Dear Barbara,
I love your chapter, i have just read. You have written this chapter extremely well. The story is very interesting. Your writing is excellent. The dialogue is great! Keep writing. I am waiting to see how the story will turn out. I hope it all works out for the main characters, such as Amos for example. I hope they find what their looking for in the end. Overall a fantastic story. Well done!

Kind Regards,
Cory4

I lived in Maryland and had the pleasure of being inside some of those old homes that had hidden exits. Kind of a great part of history to know what happened behind those walls. Great read. I hope they find Paige soon.

Hello:

You could cut the tension with a knife and feel the anxiety.
The accents used added to the southern atmosphere and the imagery made one feel as they were too, in the tunnel.

Take care,

Ray

Good opening lines that raise my curiosity when the guy holds up Paige's shoe. I'm kind of mad at myself because I missed a lot of what's going on. The dialogue is clear. The transition is smooth as this piece makes me feel that I'm searching for Paige too. Good job and I will not try to get lost any more.

I can see the value of your writing even with just this chapter, what is it ...chapter 90! I think your dialogue is good and you capture the dialect well with Amos. He's a funny character. I wonder if you ever get stuck think'n in hick!?!

This is short, Barbara. I'm anxious to read more. Not a whole lot has happened this part of the chapter.

I didn't notice anything to bring to your attention.

I hope Paige wasn't hit by rocks.

This is a very interesting chapter....It kept me intrigued....the dialogue keeps it believable,...it was great exploring tunnels used to free slaves long ago.....that ghost has seen some amazing things.....found Paige's shoe and heard Morgan bark....leaves us intrigued ...
Well done
God bless
