My friend,, I hold your ife in my thoughts and prayers,,, I have just come home from my surgery,,, and your poem,, is all the pre knife jitters I have,,, but all went well,,, now just getting through the pain,,, doped to the eyeballs,,so sorry if my reviews and comments don't make sense,,, GOD's blessings,,, and protection upon your wife,,, blessings, to you both,,, sueellen

What a tense and worrying time for you both.
All these sentiments are quite natural and I hope voicing them has somehow reduced her fear.
We all want to live and be free of pain.

This is an exceptional poem with great rhythm and unconventional excellent structure. It has nice figurative language and sharp clear images. It has some good rhyme.

Yes, the thoughts that runs through a person's mind when facing surgery. There's so many things that can go wrong, but one has to stay positive and place their fate in God. Well expressed, as always.

Hospitals are very frightening, we are so vulnerable as nothing is in our control.
May God guide the surgeon's hands; may his love comfort during these difficult hours.

A very good poem. I especially like the manner of freestyle you chose for the wording. The words that rhyme work very well in the poem. I could also feel the emotion in which it was written.

This is a good selection of the things one cannot help thinking, just before surgery. Errors, germs, recovery and a higher power are all natural concerns. Good work.
