this is very well written, mystery writer, you did an excellent job wiritng this story about the boy who didn't understand his grandmother's "cuckoo" way of thinking. i enjoyed reading it. my favorite part was the Why? good luck in the contest

This is adorable and it should do great in the contest. These are things that a child would actually think about in their day-to-day lives. They don't always understand, so they just do what they can to figure it out in their own ways. It's such a sweet and innocent write. Good luck!

This was really cute! I often wonder how much confusion we insert into our children's lives without meaning to. I love the story, and the spiritual aspect. You did a really nice job! Good luck in the contest!

I am awfully certain that kids hear things differently than we suspect we say out loud. The only thing they seem to get the first time is some obscenity we might utter by mistake and then we hear it all the time...lol

I think this will be strong cntender for this
prompt, author. Hard to best a kid who calls God Art.
I know the prompt calls for a child's perspective,
but I wonder if this is a little too precious to go beyond the prompt. Just a thought.

Probably is, but my Peter happens to be Mensa material with a foil as a grandma. The poor lad is lost between two sides of his brain and is just trying to bring all the puzzle parts together. LOL Thanks for reading.
