What beautiful settings you expose to the reader in this travel piece. Being an outdoor person myself, (my wife and I live on the Downie River and spend every moment we can at our beach). I can completely relate to the vision you portray. One question. Where did the fantastic picture come from, it looks like you may have taken it? All my best, Ridley

This is a perfect rhyming poem about nature and its charms. It makes the point of our blessedness in having such a wonderful world filled with beauty while remembering our responsibility for it. What a wonderful accomplishment this is. I enjoyed reading it.

Excellent poetry.
Deep thoughts and feelings about the Earth and how wonderful life can be.
Although some of the lines in the poetry I cannot understand. I must admit, if its too deep. It goes well over my head.
Kindest of regards Katherine

Sacred places are all over our planet......and vistas like these should never be taken for granted ... Unless they are ..well granite..Oh no I didn't mean to pun when the topic is a serious one.
I love the thought expressed that this Creation is awe inspiring
Thanks and God bless

I love this poem very much and am sorry I have no 6's left. Your syllable count is unusual and very good. Your last three verses are so true and I liked them - but in truth the whole poem is beautiful. Regards Dorothy

Hi Treischel,
It is amazing that the earth holds such beauty. I love nature and I never run out of things to write about. Your rhyming pattern is musical, word choices are delightful, the flow is even and I love the theme. Well done, chey

This is a stunning verse, i love how you painted the picturesque beauty of nature all around us that we continue to explore and probably destroy in the process. I think it's a beautiful ramble :)
nature can be dangerous and cruel, but humans are even more so in the infinite search for the unknown and taking the earth for granted inso many ways. I don't think many truly stop to consider anything on the earth sacred, just possessions, which is very sad- and as you say, nature won't stand for that much longer.

Yes, the beauty of the world and our surroundings can take us into a deep moment of elation and appreciation when we see the view clearly around us and beyond.
If we can notice the details of thing around us, we will indeed find a pot of gold that others seldom find.
Great write and well expressed.
Cheerio, Ritchie.
