If you don't get published, it won't be because of the story. Rabbit and Virge if handled right is not just a book, it could be a movie.

Superb- what an atmospheric piece of writing! And more than that a tale of real friendship between the old and the young'going to hurt to say goodbye'. I can almost smell the Sir Walter Raleigh pipe smoke'.The acknowledgement of the gift of friendship between two entirely different generations' Made my summer a heap better'.

Very sweet story with natural dialogue with a bit of vernacular thrown in. I imagine it would have been very tempting to throw in a bit more, but I thought it was perfect. The scene setting was exquisite, the mood was lovely. Just all around a perfect story. :)

This is just wholesome lay good. I could taste Grandmas breakfast could see wrinkles on wrinkles as Virge concentrated.. Loved the name Rabbit.
My Grandparents lived with us and there is a special special bond between the young and the old because they pay attention to your young self , completely with no recriminations .

I like the relationship between Rabbit and Virge of how two people with such a big age gap could be best of friends. It somehow made me felt nostalgic.
