Sometimes we have to let our thoughts run wild and set our fantasy free, Snow monkeys a very curious and very smart and have away of worming there way into our hears,they make us smile and forget the cold we feel around us. They give us warmth and love and as us for nothing in return

This is very cool poem. I like the fantasy aspect since I don't see that too often. I've never heard of snow monkeys, other than the kids flying down the hill on toboggans near my house (when there's snow).
I wonder how the snow monkey would fare living with the squirrels?

Didn't care for the layout. I like one,two lines and four lines making up a stanza...not bad though and I thought i was written well. Im just more of a rhyming poetry guy but it was very good like I said. Descrpitive and very sound

I find rhyming a challenge and usually write free verse. Thanks for your positive comments. I have attempted a rhyming poem Thoughts from a Camel, you might enjoy this poem more. Elaine

Such a beautiful simple wish from the snow laden ground outside. If i have any snow monkeys, dear, I will send one to you. The pic of the snow monkey looked so cue and mischievous. I am sure if there is a pack of them in your backyard, they will be causing a lot of havoc besides smiles and laughter at the silly things they do - bets of all, your clothes can go missing, whether inside or outside the house, LOL. Food will also disappear mysteriously. Good write with excellent imagery. Cheers, Ritchiesszzky.
